Bike Ride & Picnic - May 2023 🚴‍♀️🚴

We are planning to go on another adventure this Sat 27th May. This is our 3rd edition of our bike ride and this time we are checking out the route from Kangaroo Point all the way to New Farm Park.🙂

The bike ride will start at 10am leaving Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park (find us at the square) and then we will have a nice picnic on our return at same spot at 12 pm.

The Bike ride is easy & nice, wewill be at an easy pace (8.6 km/about 30 min each way) & leaving from Kangaroo Point, then crossing the Goodwill Bridge to ride along the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, following the path under the Story Bridge and eventually ending up at New Farm Park. 

We will have a nice coffee or drink at the Powerhouse and then make our way back to Kangaroo Point for a nice arvo of Picnic & nibblies.

Also, if you don’t have a bike, don’t worry! You can hire the Brisbane's e-bikes, Beam or Neuron, for only $15 a day. So, everyone can join!

We will do a loop starting from Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park and will be back at the same spot for a little picnic at the end of the ride. So, we can park our cars at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and either bring your own bike or hire a bike. 😊

PLAN FOR THE DAY:

9.30 am..... Meet at Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park (Bottom of cliffs, look for the tiled 'dance square')

10:00 am... Leave Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park

10.45 am... Regroup & coffee stop at Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm

12:00 pm Picnic at Kangaroo Point Cliff (Square). BYO picnic or snacks to share. 🙂😋
